The Creative Call

I am not called to a particular artistic way. Instead, my soul is called over and over to the state which births it. What is it which rouses the soul to create? Beauty? Truth? Love?

Whatever it is which beckons and calls, it initiates intimate participation with the Divine.

And now…earth calls me downward to things which need tending. But my soul is not far from being upward sent.

Ah, dear soul, can we still fly while my feet walk this earth among those loved without ties? To be heaven sent, while earthly bent?
